Entertainment options for teenagers during the school holiday period...

The General Secretariat for Youth organises a number of youth holiday programmes, including:

Opportunities for young lawyers to offer legal aid to minority groups
A programme in which medical-school students volunteer on remote Greek islands in July and August
'Visiting Greece', an alternative tourism programme, in cooperation with the National Tourism Organization (EOT), for young people aged 18-30
'Young People Getting to Know Europe', a program in which 300 pupils from Greece visit five European capitals
Holidays and Voluntary Work programme for young people aged 18-26 at post offices in Greek tourist resorts during the summer months
Nature's Workshop programme, in cooperation with the Scouts of Greece, for three different age groups to make young people aware, through interactive games, about the right choices regarding the environment and their daily attitude
Local Youth Councils
Environmental Awareness Action in fire-stricken areas in cooperation with the National Tourism Organization (EOT)
Dance, drama, fine arts workshops and events, exhibitions, performances and mixed workshops for young people with or without disabilities
